Lekki Residents To Get Free Wi-fi

Residents, visitors and commuters around Admiralty Way, Lekki, Lagos, have been provided with free and fast wireless Internet connection. The initiative, a product of collaboration between Union Bank of Nigeria Plc and CBC Netcomms, is made possible with the launch of Stallion Hotspot, Nigeria’s first street wireless fidelity (WiFi) network.
Speaking at the launch of the service, Head, Corporate Affairs & Communications at Union Bank, Mr. Ogochukwu Ekezie-Ekaidem, emphasised the importance of keeping everybody connected in the current digital era. “In this mobile age, we need to stay connected to loved ones, businesses and the world in general.
To this end, Union Bank customers can carry out their transactions in real-time via Union- Mobile. Stallion Hotspot is another simpler and smarter solution to help our customers and communities do more of what matters while on the go,” Ekezie-Ekaidem said
